What’s the opportunity?

The Account Executive Commercial Lines provides critical support to customers through account management, claims management, day-to-day client oversight, and underwriting services that makes the client a leading sales and service organization in the insurance industry. Through a robust network of resources, the Account Executive will be amongst some of the industry’s top talent to help guide and support our customer’s needs and provide them with innovative solutions.

What will I be doing?

The Account Executive ensures clients receive the service they need to properly manage their insurance policies. Facilitates positive and effective relationships with clients and insurance carrier staff. Acts as the point-of-contact for larger, more complex accounts.

You will manage the entire account-service process:

  • Market to carriers
  • Prepare quotes and proposals
  • Prepares/presents proposals to clients
  • Participates in client meetings/presentations with Producer(s)
  • Oversees the processing of enrollments/changes/terms
  • Maintains renewal controls on expirations and binders
  • Responds to/resolves escalated client issues
  • Check policies/endorsement/audits for accuracy
  • Coordinates premium financing and the collection of premiums
  • Maintains accurate and organized account files


What skills do I need?

  • At least 5+ years of related commercial lines insurance experience
  • Currently licensed in good standing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
  • Proven presentation skills
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • The confidence and demeanor to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook

  • A high school diploma/GED (college degree strongly preferred)
