We are currently looking for an HR Admin Asst for a Company whose HR department is short staffed presently. Some of the administrative duties are listed below – the immediate need is more on the administrative side and the strategy part could come in time for the right candidate which leads to the possibility for a temp-to-hire role.

Job Description (including but not limited to the following):

  • Administer U.S. HR Programs (ex: Anniversary Trip, Service Award, Healthy Lifestyle, Education Reimbursement, and Charity Match programs); Develop process maps and process documentation; Drive templatization of recurring tasks; Recommend for approval and execute approved global alignment and process improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct employment verifications; Support outsourcing of employment verification process.
  • Electronically file HR-related paperwork; Assist with clean-up of HR shared drive; Support transition of regional HR shared drives to global file share.
  • Support Leaves of Absence (LOAs) administration; Support day-to-day administration and vendor management of U.S. Benefits; Support alignment, change management, and day-to-day administration of Canada benefits.
  • Support delivery of quarterly and annual DEI reports; Support refinement and delivery of DEI dashboard.
  • Support new hire and termination processes; Develop process maps and process documentation; Drive templatization of recurring tasks; Recommend for approval and execute approved global alignment and process improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct inventory of U.S. & UK reports and associated processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate data in HRIS system(s); conduct regular reviews; identify, recommend for approval, and execute approved opportunities for automation and enhancements.

Skills and Requirements:

  • This individual should have at least 2 years’ experience working in Human Resources
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, higher education experience a plus
  • Knowledge working with Concur, Epicor or Paylocity (HR computer systems) is helpful
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Microsoft Word (knowledge creating templates would be helpful)
  • Detail oriented and trustworthy
  • Effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-conscious environment
  • This is a hybrid/remote position
This is a temporary assignment with a possibility of extension.  The pay range is between $28 to $32 per hour.
